Kills my holiday

Been up for this time about 1.24am here. I've been on my holiday since the announcement of the entry of university to the matrikulasi thingy which is on 24th June. I was so bored doing nothing or just spending time and money going to mall or else. so i decided to take a sewing course. I craved this for a long time and i know this is the perfect time to get started. So im still on my course till 23rd June. I have bought some fabric material to be sew.

i bought tile and many more. For the plan i was going to sew the tile inside the black skirt. But i guess i bought the wrong tile. it's not too hard as i expected. btw here's my stuffs to get started sewing. My teacher taught me to create some basic pattern first. After we duplicate the basic pattern to newspaper, we can create or change with our own design. here's the example that i made.

it's fun! althought its not as easy as i thought before :P but i like it. I mean..changing into the way we like and coloring em with red and blue with these tools.

When i started to directly play with the fabric material, i choose to make a shirt first. I decided to use the stripes black and blue as the front and some transparant-silver-fishnet-look-alike as the back. i already cut em but when i tried to sew it, its kinda hard to sew the transparant part. so my teacher asked me to made and sew the skirt first.

as i told you i want to put pink tile inside the black skirt but i was wrong in buying the tile. I want to put it inside so it will look bigger skirt. Because it wont happen because the tile isnt hard so i decided to put the tile outside the skirt. I didnt sew it by myself of course. My teacher helped me. and this is the result. we made it in 3 hours.

i didnt realise that making a skirt is easy. trust me its easy and very simple. the skirt that i made is like an umbrella. so it's like ballet skirt . when u spin your body, the skirt pulled up high. it's so fun wearing this. And of course im so proud of myself ;;)

Monday, I will try to sew my undone shirt then i think i'll try to make a shirt or sweater for my boyfie, unfortunately i didnt buy the fabric that might suit for him. but i hope he will love the deer fabric above.
